Do I need an adapter for Italy?
You will need to bring an adapter and potentially a power converter.
Standard Voltage in Italy: 230 V (sometimes described as 220–240 V). Frequency: 50 Hz. This is different from the U.S./Canada (120 V, 60 Hz), so if your device only supports 120 V you may need a voltage converter in addition to a plug adapter. Agoda
Outlet / Plug Types in Italy
The common socket types are:
Type L — the traditional Italian outlet with three round pins in a line.
Type C — the Europlug with two round pins, very common for small devices and usually fits into many Italian sockets.
